Hi! My name is Steven. I am in my early forties with a sparkling personality, a sharp wit, a good heart and a sensitive, gentle nature. However, I am not a wimp! I am just a NICE GUY! I like to laugh & make people laugh. I also have a real "off the wall" sense of humor:

I am The Customer Service Manager for an internet based service company. I like my job & am confident that I give it my all.

THE ORIGIN

For those that may actually wonder, the name "siberkat" actually came from somewhwere. A long time ago (18 years or so), my favorite song was by the group YES. The song is on The Close to the Edge Album & is called SIBERIAN KHATRU. Anyway, when e-mail came into all our lives, I was looking for the perfect "handle". Then , it hit me! SIBERKHAT! The combination of techno-speak & cats really appealed to me. Also, it was like a tribute to my own past. But mostly I really liked the unique spelling. So, after a while I decided to drop the "H" ( Though I am still true to my ideas!) and this humble webmaster was born.

Some of my Interests:

Movies: I enjoy many types, Foreign, Classic, Comedies. Some of my current favorites are: Miss Congeneality, The Princess Bride, It Happened One Night, My New Partner (French Film) & of course... The Matrix.

Reading: I always enjoy a good book (used to work in a bookstore). Relaxing & reading with my wife, doing the same next to me is a moment that I live for. Some of my favorite authors & books are: Alfred Bester-"The Star's My Destination", Orson Scott Card-"Ender's Game", Stephen King-"The Stand", Nelson Demille-"Charm School" & many others.

Music: My tastes are VERY eclectic. Currently I am "into" New Age Music (Tangerine Dream to be precise). I also enjoy: Enya, Radiohead, Yes, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Sarah Mclachlan, just to name a few. I appreciate classical music as well as jazz.

I Love To Cook! I can cook almost anything (I think). I usually cook stir-fry and enjoy making deserts as well! My friends & aquaintances say my Silky White Choclate FUDGE is rich & sweet & melts in their mouths .

My Family: My Family is a very important contributor to my life. I know in my heart I will always have their love, support and understanding.

My Cat: I Love Starfox! She is a black cat with a white heart on her belly. She is temperamental, skittish & ALWAYS MEOWING! She also loves to play fetch! =^^=

My Friends: Sometimes in life, you find special friends; People who change your life just by being part of it. They make you laugh until you can't stop; They make you believe that there really is good in the world. They convince you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is Forever Friendship. I am lucky to be blessed with wonderful friends.

I pretty much like EVERYTHING Science Fiction.

A FEW THINGS I DO TO RELAX: I like to take long walks for leisure or excercise. Going out with my friends. E-mail my penpals. (I have 2 in Europe. J. Gordon in Switzerland & Jukka in Finland). Sometimes, it is nice to just curl up in front of the TV.

MY FAVORITE SMELLS: A woman's perfume, barbecue & fresh pizza!

THE WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD: The loss of a loved one.

THE BEST FEELING(S) IN THE WORLD: Spending quality time with my wife, getting lots of money & nice suprises.

THE FIRST THING I THINK OF WHEN I WAKE IN THE MORNING: "Why does the cat want to play at 5am?"
