On February 7th, 2002 My father Max passed away. He was a very kind, loving and compassionate man. His life was not only impacted by famous events, he also accomplished many amazing feats.

He was born in 1921 and grew up during "The Great Depression ". In the early 1940's, he joined The Navy and was stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked by the Japanese. That is something that followed him for the rest of his life. He remained in the Navy until the war ended. After that, he married my mother and over the years had four beautiful children.

In the late 1960's he started teaching Electronics at Miami Beach Senior High School. He also taught a few other things such as History and auto-repair (as is pictured below). My father was also an avid bicyclist. Between the ages of 50 & 75, he rode his bike anywhere from 20 to 40 miles a day ! That's right, A DAY! He rode in 100 mile marathons and also participated in the Senior Olympics. The only reason he stopped riding the bike, was because he was losing his eyesight.

Though his condition worsened, he was always the center of happiness and love to those that knew him as well as those touched by his presence.

We, his family will miss him very, very much. We Love You Dad!
